Little Lambs

We are delighted to welcome families to the Caversham Baptist Church baby and toddler group. Numbers each week are limited to help prevent overcrowding, so if you’d like to attend please click here to book your free ticket. Your ticket admits one adult, with the child or children that you care for. If you are unsuccessful in booking, you will automatically be offered a waiting list.

We meet on Monday mornings during the school terms at Caversham Baptist Church, South Street, Caversham RG4 8HY from 10:00-11:30.

The group is run by volunteers from the church. We aim to welcome local parents and carers with their babies and toddlers into a friendly and informal setting. We hope that all our guests, from the youngest to the oldest, will enjoy what we provide, which includes:

• The opportunity to get to know and chat with others – parents, carers and volunteers
• Social interaction for young children
• Toys, games and music
• Themed events for Christian festivals (e.g. Christmas, Easter, Harvest)
• Pastoral and spiritual support in a Christian context
• Healthy snacks for children and refreshments for adults

Entry is via the side door in the church car park. Limited parking is available.

Your child remains your responsibility during the toddler group sessions.

COVID-19
We are taking steps to make the church environment as safe as possible for all adults and children attending the group. The steps we are taking include:

• Limiting numbers to help prevent overcrowding
• Online booking system with no-touch check-in on arrival
• Providing hand sanitiser for your use on entering and leaving the building
• Promoting hand-washing
• Maintaining enhanced cleaning
• Please do not attend if you, or any of your household or close contacts, has symptoms of Covid-19. If you need to cancel, please use the booking website so that your ticket may be allocated to someone else.
